RESERVED: F*CK ICE Glass Shard and Sterling Silver Charm Necklace

This piece is the second of a series of resistance jewelry raising funds for Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition and my local community food pantry serving immigrant families. All proceeds will be shared between these two orgs.

The glass is from a shattered vintage iittala bowl from my collection of MCM Scandinavian glass. Reimagining these shimmering, icy pieces into resistance jewelry helps me feel less sad about it. One face resembles the strong texture of columnar basalt. The edges of the fractured sides smoothed to the touch.

Two charms hang from a sterling silver cable chain: a triangular glass shard and a sterling silver tag with ‘FUCK’ sawn into it. Hold onto it any time you feel the need to scream but have to hold back for some reason. I've got you. I see you, Warrior.
