Forged Erosion Earrings

The fluid, tapered form of these Forged Erosion Earrings has been a repeating theme in my sketchbooks for years. The abstract movement evokes the flow of water and how it carves into stone. Creating positive and negative space.

Sterling silver sheet is sawn by hand and forged to create depth and movement in the tapered form, then refined and given a bright satin finish. A long, curved ear wire holds the top of the earring flush against your ear lobe. The earring lays parallel, or flat, to your ear.

Lightweight and easy to wear. Edgy and elegant. I wear my pair more than any other style in my jewelry drawer.

All metal is .925 sterling silver. The silver is certified 100% post-consumer recycled content.

Overall length is 2-1/4”, width is 1/2”. Soft plastic earring backs are included for security.
