Hummingbird Pendant on Cable Chain

My Hummingbird Pendant is bold and graphic. Graceful and elegant. Fluid, gently curved forms in sterling silver create my signature hummingbird design. A gesture captured in time.

Sterling silver sheet is sawed by hand and refined to a bright satin finish. The hummingbird dangles from a silver ring and is hung on a 20” long 1.1mm cable chain with a lobster clasp.

All metal is .925 sterling silver. The silver used for the pendant is certified 100% post-consumer recycled content.

Overall pendant length is 3”, hummingbird measures 3/4” wide by 2-3/4” long.

Anna’s hummingbirds frequent the red flowering currant shrubs in my backyard, which I can see from my studio. They are vocal and territorial, and they delight me beyond words. They inspired these earrings.

FLIGHT Collection: In the early days of the pandemic, I was mesmerized by the birds outside my window, envious of their freedom, inspired by their motion and grace. Their lives continued on as normal. My interest in the birds, bees, moths and butterflies nesting in and visiting my yard has only increased since then. Creating native habitat has brought more species each year. And increased my awareness of their presence.
